You need to CREATE a desire for change. It is key to any kind of change, it is important that you donโt want to stay this way! You have a strong enough desire to find the right way for you to change.
Ask yourself questions that strengthens this desire.

โWhat has stopped me in the past from getting help?โ
โDo I really want this enough and why am I tired of feeling this wayโ
โHow did I get pleasure from staying this way?โ
We want to build a strong foundation of the NEED to change.

So many people will get to this step and STOP!
You need to prepare for change.
Now is the time to look at options available to you?
Do you want 1 on 1 or an online program?
How much time and budget?
What time do you have to commit to the process?
In looking for the right person, donโt be afraid to ask the questions, eg qualifications/experience etc. You want to find the right fit for your personality.
๐ฏ. TAKING ACTION & REPETITION
Make the commitment and do the work!
Put aside time each day to work on yourself.
Be honest and repeat the process working daily.
Open up to the therapist as well as yourself. This helps them to fully understand and help you.
Donโt get negative. Remember, you have had this issue for a while, so it will take time to turn around.
